Business Development Manager – Distributor Business Unit

In this position, you will be part of the international sales team. In an innovative and fast-growing market environment, it deals with customer loyalty and the establishment of new customer relationships. We are particularly aimed at people who enjoy and enthusiastically drive strategic topics forward and enjoy working with clients in an international environment. You think in terms of possibilities and want to use your sales skills in a targeted manner to generate incoming orders.

As part of a dynamic team, you will be an essential member of establishing TGW as a successful player in the intralogistics market.
 

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • Evaluation of leads up to the conclusion of the contract and handover to the implementation department

  • Development of "New Business Accounts" into "Key Accounts" – placing TGW as "Partner of Choice"

  • Market research and, consequently, ensuring a continuous influx of customer inquiries

  • Network building and collaboration with relevant external and internal stakeholders

  • Proactive business development to acquire new customers, including creation of the respective sales strategy

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Constant striving to inspire our customers

  • As a "lifelong learner", the mindset to continuously acquire new knowledge about best practices and trends

  • Intralogistics network (e.g. end customers, planners, system integrators)

  • Several years of relevant professional experience (e.g. sales, business development)

  • Very good knowledge of German and English, other languages desirable

  • Open-minded, committed and proactive personality

  • International willingness to travel to the extent of approx. 30%

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 57.579 Euro.
